The Power of Data n Dashboards for Regional Development
As our founder, Mubashir Mukhtar, shares in the interview, every region has a unique story to tell—one that often gets lost in national-level statistics. That’s where we come in.
By building interactive dashboards, we help uncover the strengths and opportunities that exist at the local level. These tools don’t just visualise data—they drive smarter decisions, community engagement, and investment performance.
At the heart of these dashboards is the goal of driving informed investments. By presenting complex data in easy-to-interpret charts, tables and interactive maps, they enable users to zoom in on local or sector-specific indicators and identify regions with high growth potential.
From population trends and workforce dynamics to infrastructure pressure points, our dashboards bring clarity to complexity. They empower local operators to take action and give policymakers the evidence they need to plan for growth.
We're trying to make the invisible visible. A lot of things in regional data are hidden in PDFs or static reports. Our goal is to make that information not just accessible, but usable.
Spotlight on the Waikato Data Hub
The feature also shines a light on one of our most comprehensive collaborations to date: the Waikato Data Hub, co-developed with Waikato Regional Council.
This centralised platform brings together over 230 dashboards, offering comprehensive insights into the region’s demographics, housing supply, labour force shifts, and more. Updated regularly, the hub enables councils, iwi, researchers, and the public to track progress and spot emerging trends.
A New Era for Regional Intelligence
Our feature in Regional Focus NZ is a reflection of a growing demand for data-led decision-making across New Zealand. We’re proud to be supporting this movement, one dashboard at a time.
With user-friendly interfaces and customisable filters, small businesses can pinpoint underserved markets while larger corporations can evaluate the feasibility of scaling operations in a new district.
